Cotton and Silk At Home

Kok Chareon Village is located in Lop Buri Province central Thailand, about 2.5 hrs drive north from Bangkok, the area is farming country and provides us with a wealth of natural materials.

The Festivals

It is a very rural environment we live in, with early starts to avoid the heat and early nights, that is until festival time and we have at least 1 a month

Our favourites are the wildest event ever, the Bun Bangfai rocket festival in May. Here we build giant fireworks based rockets to see whose can travel the farthest and highest, we also have a few days off, so party around the village. Songkran starting on the 13th of April is like New Year with everyone who is working away from home, returning home to party for a week, its fun and dancing in the streets from early in the morning until late at night its time to have fun with the water, everyone gets wet, its great atmosphere, known all across Thailand, a party not to be missed come and join us we know you will love it.
